Skiresort 3 Zinnen Dolomites

Safety

Safety
In Italy, you are required to have third party liability insurance when skiing in designated winter sports areas. We recommend that you take a copy of your insurance policy, either in digital or paper form, with you on the slopes. In many cases, standard insurance policies already cover 'winter sports'.

 No liability insurance?

If you don't already have insurance, you can buy Snowcare online for just €3 per day. Snowcare is Europe's most popular ski and snowboard insurance and protects you and third parties. It is the only insurance you can take out for a single day. Piste rescue is also covered, so there are no additional costs for rescue in an emergency (note: not all liability insurance policies include 'mountain insurance').

Piste rescue
In order to guarantee a professional rescue service for all guests in the ski area, specially trained piste rescuers are on duty. The rescue service in the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski resort is organised in collaboration with the regional rescue association "Weisses Kreuz". In the event of an accident or a collision, there is a sufficient number of rescuers available to provide fast and effective assistance.

Piste rescue costs
A flat-rate charge of € 250.00 will be made for first aid and/or transport of injured persons.

Reporting an accident
Accidents can be reported at all lift stations, in the huts, at the ski pass office or by calling the emergency number 112.
